LA CAGE
A collective of designers for a ready-to-wear inspired by American cinema and entirely handmade in France from materials coming from dormant stocks.
La Cage is a collective of designers created by Victoria Baia and Victor Koehler, two young artists who graduated from the prestigious Parisian fashion school Duperré.
The duo created a ready-to-wear label influenced by the cinema and build each of their collections like a movie with its own story and characters.
Each of their projects begins with the writing of a script, from which they create a men's ready-to-wear collection and a short film.
The development and production are made in France and the materials are recycled or from dormant stocks. The artisanal treatments; dyeing, screen-printing, printing and knitting have a central place in their collections and make each piece unique.
